The fine print, up front

What "lifetime" means here

One payment, then nothing: This is not a subscription. Nothing renews, there is no billing date, and there is nothing to cancel.
Lifetime of the service: Access lasts for as long as Recometric operates, not for the lifetime of the buyer. If the service is permanently discontinued, the access ends with it.
Pro as it exists from time to time: You get the Pro tier as it stands, and if its features change your access changes with them. Material changes are announced the same way as any other change to the Terms.
Personal to this account: The membership belongs to the account that holds it. It cannot be transferred, assigned, gifted, or resold.

Section 7b of the Terms is the binding version of all four.
