1. Who we are

The Recometric service (the "Service") is provided by SEOKLIKK Kft., a limited liability company (korlátolt felelősségű társaság) registered in Hungary ("we", "us", "our").

  • Registered address: Szabadság út 22. 2. em. 2. ajtó, Dunaújváros, Hungary
  • Company registration number: 07-09-034983
  • Tax identifier: 32350720-2-07
  • Contact: hello@recometric.ai

Who you contract with. These terms govern your use of the Service and are between you and SEOKLIKK Kft. Your purchase, however, is not made from us: Paddle.com Market Ltd. is the Merchant of Record and is the seller for every order. See section 7.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

3. The service

Recometric provides AI Visibility Intelligence, including scanning, scoring, and recommendations that estimate how AI-powered search and recommendation systems perceive your business. The Service may evolve over time and specific features may be added, modified, or removed.

4. Account & accurate information

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
  • send spam, malware, or infringing content through the Service;
  • infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
  • interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of the Service, including probing, scanning, scraping, or reverse engineering;
  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

What we fetch on your behalf. Measuring visibility requires reading the pages you point us at, so when you submit a website address - your own or a competitor's - we make automated HTTP requests to it and read its publicly available content. Those requests come from our crawler, which identifies itself as RecometricBot and is documented, together with how to block it, at recometric.ai/bot. We request only pages that are publicly reachable without signing in, and we do not attempt to bypass any access control.

By submitting an address you confirm that you are entitled to submit it for this purpose, and that doing so does not breach any agreement or right of a third party. You are responsible for the addresses you enter. If you are the operator of a site you do not want us to fetch, the opt-out on recometric.ai/bot applies regardless of who entered the address.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the underlying software, models, documentation, designs, and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your selected plan. You retain ownership of the business data you provide; you grant us a limited license to host and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Payments, billing, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

What "Merchant of Record" means here. Legally, Paddle.com Market Ltd. is the seller of the subscription and is the party you buy from; SEOKLIKK Kft. is the provider of the service you are buying. Paddle is responsible for the sale, for charging and collecting tax, and for refunds; we are responsible for operating the Service.

In practice this means Paddle issues the invoice and the charge appears on your card or bank statement under Paddle's name, not under SEOKLIKK Kft. or Recometric. This is expected and is not an unrecognised transaction.

7a. Subscription terms, trial, and cancellation

  • Plans and billing cycle. Starter, Pro and Growth are subscriptions billed in advance for each period (monthly or yearly, as selected at checkout). They renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Not transferable. A subscription is personal to the account that holds it. It cannot be transferred, assigned, gifted, or resold to another person or another account; the general licence in section 6 is limited the same way, and this states it explicitly for the paid plans it covers.
  • 7-day Pro trial. The Pro plan may be started with a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to begin the trial, and no charge is taken while it runs. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically on day 7 and the first period is charged at the Pro price then in effect, currently $99 per month. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies; see the pricing page for current plans.
  • Reminder before the charge. We send a reminder email approximately 24 hours before a trial converts, stating the amount and the date, with a link to cancel.
  • One trial per account. The free trial is available once per account, and a second one is refused at checkout rather than silently converted into a charge.
  • Cancelling at the end of the period. Cancelling from your account always takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep full access until that date, no further charge is taken, and the account then moves to the Free plan. Cancelling during the trial means no charge is taken at all.
  • Immediate cancellation. A subscription can also be cancelled with immediate effect, which we or Paddle.com Market Ltd. may apply (for example alongside a refund, or under section 9). Access to paid features then ends at that point rather than at the end of the period.
  • Refunds. A refund may be requested within 14 days of a charge. See our Refund Policy for how this works alongside the trial and for renewals. A full refund of a subscription charge does not, on its own, end your access early: unless the subscription is also cancelled with immediate effect (see above), you keep access until the end of the period the refunded charge covered.
  • Your data when a subscription ends. Cancelling a subscription does not delete anything. Your account, business profile, past scans and score history are retained, and the account continues on the Free plan, so resubscribing later picks up your existing history.
  • Your data when you delete your account. You can delete your account yourself at any time from Settings. Doing so permanently removes your account, your business profile, and your scans, results and alerts. Billing records are the one exception: Paddle.com Market Ltd. and we must keep them for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which we cannot waive. See the Privacy Policy for the full retention detail and for how to exercise your data-protection rights.

7b. One-time purchases: credit packs and lifetime deals

  • Scan credit packs. Scan credits can be bought as one-time purchases on top of a paid plan; buying a pack creates no subscription and nothing renews. A purchased credit is valid for 365 days from the moment the payment completes; a credit still unused when that day passes expires and is lost. A credit is spendable on any plan, including Free, for as long as it has not expired: buying a pack still requires a paid plan, but once you own the credits, a lapsed or downgraded subscription does not stop you from using what you already paid for.
  • Availability of the Founder Lifetime Deal. The Founder Lifetime Deal is a limited-time offer, open to any account that completes the purchase before the stated claim deadline. It requires no invitation and no prior signup. After the deadline the offer closes permanently and is not reopened. The deadline that applies to you is the one shown on the offer page for your account at the time you claim it.
  • Founder Lifetime Deal. A one-time purchase of $399 that grants lifetime access to the Pro tier of the Service as it exists from time to time: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. If the Pro tier's features change, your access changes with them; a material change is announced the same way as any other material change to these terms (section 14). "Lifetime" means for the operating lifetime of the Recometric service, not the lifetime of the buyer: the access lasts for as long as the Service operates, and if the Service is permanently discontinued the access ends with it, without the discontinuation creating any further obligation or refund claim.
  • Lifetime deals bought through AppSumo. Recometric sells lifetime deals through AppSumo in three tiers: Starter, Pro and Growth. Each is a one-time purchase that grants access to that tier of the Service as it exists from time to time. "Lifetime" has the same meaning here as it does for the Founder Lifetime Deal above: the operating lifetime of the Recometric service, not the lifetime of the buyer. AppSumo is the seller for these purchases, so their refund window and their terms govern the payment itself, and a refund, cancellation or deactivation reported to us by AppSumo ends the access here. A Growth lifetime deal includes the Growth plan's monthly scan credits on the same terms as a Growth subscription: they are granted on activation and again on each monthly anniversary of it, and unused credits do not carry over.
  • Subscribing to a higher plan on top of a lifetime deal. You can subscribe to a plan above your lifetime tier at any time. The subscription is billed in full, at the price everyone pays for it, and no lifetime deal discounts it. A subscription at or below your lifetime tier cannot be bought, because it would charge you for access you already own. Your lifetime access is not lost while a subscription runs: it is suspended for as long as the subscription stays active, because the subscription already includes everything your lifetime tier does, and it automatically resumes, at no extra charge, the moment the subscription ends.
  • Not transferable. An unspent credit balance and any lifetime deal are both personal to the account that holds them, the same rule as subscriptions in section 7a: neither can be transferred, assigned, gifted, or resold to another person or another account.
  • Refunds on one-time purchases. The 14-day window in our Refund Policy applies to a credit pack and to the Founder Lifetime Deal the same way it applies to any other charge. A refund reverses the purchase as a whole: when a credit pack is refunded, the still-unspent credits from that pack are removed (credits already spent are not charged back), and when a lifetime deal is refunded, the lifetime access ends. A lifetime deal bought through AppSumo is refunded by AppSumo, under their window and their terms; when they report it to us, the access ends here in the same way.
  • When you delete your account. Deleting your account (section 7a) ends any lifetime deal's membership and its lifetime access, and forfeits any unspent scan credits, the same way deletion ends every other paid entitlement on the account. No refund is due for either: this follows the same "your data when you delete your account" rule as any other paid feature, not a separate penalty.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI visibility results will be complete or predictive of any commercial outcome. The Service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, create security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time; subscription cancellations are handled through Paddle.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited: for a subscription, to the fees you paid Paddle.com Market Ltd. for it in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; for a one-time purchase, such as a credit pack or a lifetime deal, to the amount you paid Paddle.com Market Ltd. for that purchase, or, for a purchase made through AppSumo, the amount you paid AppSumo for it, regardless of when it was paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law prohibits such limitation.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you submit, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

12. AI outputs

The Service uses AI models to generate scores, recommendations, and other outputs. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied on as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. You are responsible for verifying outputs before acting on them and for ensuring you have rights to any content you submit.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of the Service, are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Hungary have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

If you use the Service as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live: those rules apply in addition to the clause in this section, and prevail over it where they conflict.

Your purchase is a separate relationship with Paddle.com Market Ltd. as Merchant of Record, and is governed by Paddle's own Buyer Terms. This section governs your use of the Service, not the payment itself.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
